Job Descriptions

JOB DESCRIPTION

Assisting category manager for retail product and responsible to overall assortment planning, merchandising selection, pricing and promotion.
Work with suppliers to ensure smooth product distribution to the existing retail outlets.
Analyse sales report, category sales and retail store performance.
To update relevant data related to purchasing, sales, costing and retail selling pricing, into the above-mentioned reports in a consistent manner, and to check and verify its data so to ensure its data integrity and reliability.
Support customer service to achieve effective communication and coordination of merchandise and supply chain related issues at retail outlets.
To prepare and generate any ad-hoc reports as required by superior from time to time.
Regular visits to retail outlets and conduct market research to ensure competitive positioning and understand market insight.
To perform any other ad-hoc duties as required by the Management from time to time.

Job Requirements

REQUIREMENTS

Degree in Business or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years experiences in FMCG or retail industry.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications i.e. Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Detail oriented, resourceful, proactive and a team player.
Good communications skills, both written and spoken, in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Excellent people skills with the ability to interact with people at all levels.
