Back End Engineer

The Back-End Engineer position must create, code, improve and maintain various API and web servers, server-side application frameworks, and interaction with databases and blockchains that, when combined with front-end codes, help create a functional, seamless experience for the end-user.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Re-factoring, updating, and maintaining of the Tubi Exchange backend processes, including the web server, account management, the matching engine, and interfacing with the various databases, wallets, and blockchains necessary for exchange operations.
Maintaining the web server for the TubiEx .io and community websites.
Collaborating with the front-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the user experience.
Developing ideas for new programs, products, or features by monitoring industry developments and trends.
Recording data and reporting it to proper parties, such as clients or leadership.
Build reusable code and libraries for future use
Optimize backend processes for maximum speed and scalability
Ensure the stability and security of all back-end processes
Education level - Minimum 2-year technical degree, preferred 4 years Computer Science or equivalent
Experience - 4+ years with back-end technologies
Specific skills - Github, Golang, Node.js, Python, Bash Scripting, API Development Frameworks like Swagger, PostgreSQL, MongoDB
Bonus - Understanding of Front-end technologies, familiarity with blockchain technology, database management, security best practices
Personal characteristics - good work ethic, team player, self directed, passionate about technology, interested in blockchain
