SPA Area Manager (Full-time Position)

Job Descriptions

This position supports the daily operations and direct personnel supervision of massage centre. These responsibilities include but are not limited to operating within departmental budget/forecasting goals, and ensuring compliance of regulatory matters specific to the Massage centre. The Spa Area Manager ensures an efficient and fiscally responsible operation through assistance in development and implementation of department policies and procedures.

Job Descriptions:

  • At one time or another have thoroughly performed every role and job function in the spa (operator, front desk duties, administrator, etc.) 
  • Monitor the compliance of cleanliness and safety policies and regulations within the spa centre.
  • Assist in all phases of Massage services, cost control, and associates
  • Research, develop, recommend and implement department products, programs and services
  • Handle all customers enquiries and complaints promptly in a professional manner
  • Ensure outlets in charge are running smoothly and complying with company’s policies
  • Assist in the recruitment, supervision and training of associates
  • Key liaison person for management team and outlets front desk team
  • Guide and encourage Front Desk to achieve sales target
  • Maintains thorough and accurate records and complete all required departmental reporting
  • Develops and promote guest massage packages and special membership promotions and packages
  • Manage inventory counts and implement inventory and purchasing controls for Massage products
  • Assist in setting up of new outlet and closing outlet.
Job Requirements
  • Specializing in Sales and Customer Service or equivalent
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Melayu. Ability to converse in other languages would be an added advantage
  • Must demonstrate a high level of initiative, integrity, accountability and drive to grow the business and develop oneself
  • Good leadership qualities and excellent interpersonal skill
  • Advanced knowledge in industry techniques and practices
  • Previous spa supervisory experience is added advantage
  • Possess own transport and will to travel
  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years previous leadership experience within the spa/beauty industry
