Sales & Application Engineer
(Shah Alam, Selangor )
Candidate should be a core professional in sales & application engineering / tendering from well-known reputed engineering company with ability to handle independently entire process of Sales and Marketing -Identify key customer and their requirement in line with Organizations marketing Policy
Enquiries Generation / Project Development
Selection of Projects based on Organization suitability / risk.
Project Monitoring / Tracking
Liasioning with agents / Distributors / clients / EPC Contractors / Engineering Consultants / End Users.
Enroll the inquiry in the pipeline received from customers / Distributor.
Update pipeline regularly.
Preparation of technical offer in line with the tender specs using Selection Tools.
Study and understand customer's requirement / specs & prepare comments
Co- ordinate and liasioning with manufacturing units for clarifications on the specs.
Attend Technical meetings for Technical Acceptance of Quotations
Supports the Country Sales Head in strategic decisions on Quotations / Tenders, Cost review, on time tendering support during clarification & Negotiation.
On receipt of PO, review PO and ensure to close open points.
After award - Preparation & Submission of Technical documentation for the approval of Consultant and End Users mainly Municipal Bodies.
Coordination with Buyers and End Users for Witness Inspection
Providing support during Installation and commissioning, trial run of the projects.
Pay courtesy visit to Develops and nurture relationship with OEMs, End Users, EPC Contractors, Consultants and Potential customers as and when needed.
Conduct technical presentations at potential customers / consultants to make them aware of pumps capabilities
Collect and analyze market & competitors information
Bachelor degree or min. Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering
3-5 years of experience in pump / Rotating equipment
Good verbal & written communications in English
Sound academic with strong techno-commercial knowledge
Knowledge of centrifugal Pumps (Non API) & Working Knowledge of Motor, Diesel Engine, VFD, Gear Box, Control Panel, Valves, Actuators etc.
Excellent knowledge and Practice of MS Office.
Ability to learn and adapt quickly and Drive for Excellency & Competency
Sound analytical & problem solving skills
Confident, Strong team player & Self-Management Skills.
